According to the Dutch health insurance law, there must be a mental disorder in order to be eligible for psychological treatment that is reimbursed under the Dutch health insurance policy. The complaints below can be a reason for registering with Boncura GGz. During the intake, it is checked whether there is actually a disorder, so that treatment is possible.
You (or your referrer) can always contact us to discuss. Then we can estimate together whether treatment at Boncura GGz may be appropriate.
For costs, look at requirements from the health insurer for the reimbursement of your care.

You can register with Boncura through your general practioner. You always need a referral letter from the general practitioner, company doctor or medical specialist (ONVZ clients can only be referred by a general practitioner or company doctor).
You are invited for an intake interview. Prior to the intake interview we ask you to complete an online complaint list via the platform Embloom, results are discussed during the intake interview. During the intake interview you will be asked to identify yourself with an ID proof. Boncura is required by law to perform an ID check on all clients who are being treated.
The first interview with a practitioner. We invite you to take a nearest/ dearest to the intake interview if you wish. In this conversation we talk to you about your complaints, what is going on in your environment and how you deal with it. We also explain how treatment at Boncura can look like and what the starting points are. With your practitioner you will then set goals for what you want to achieve with the treatment. If you want, you can also involve your loved ones in this.
Based on the intake interview, we choose a certain package that is declared to the health insurer. The number of conversations varies depending on your question and proposed treatment. We usually send your doctor a report of the intake interview. If you do not want that, you can indicate that. During the intake interview, the treatment agreement is discussed and, if treatment is desired, signed.
In the following conversation you agree with your practitioner on which goals you will work in the treatment. You then discuss with the practitioner how you can achieve these goals. We focus on your request for help according to the principles of positive psychology and with proven effective treatment interventions such as Mindfulness, EMDR and cognitive behavioral therapy. We record your goals in a treatment plan and how we will work on them.
The treatments take place individually or in group form. On indication, additional work is done with e-health applications from Embloom.

The last interview, the treatment is evaluated and we look ahead to how to proceed. For this a complaint list is again taken to see if your complaints have improved. A client satisfaction will also be emailed which you can enter at home after your treatment. You often make a relapse prevention plan or action plan with your practitioner in the final phase of your treatment. You can use this plan to continue your positive change after your treatment and to be able to actively retrieve what you can do if you notice that things are going a bit less. You can also use this plan to discuss with others. For example with a relative or if you continue the treatment with the GGZ GP practice assistant.
