Boncura regularly receives questions about the reimbursements by health insurers in 2023. This is an update on what is known so far (7-12-2022). When more is known, it will be published on this website.

So far we have a suitable contract with the following insurers:

Menzis – Anderzorg, Hema

Achmea – Zilveren Kruis, De Friesland, FBTO, Interpolis, ZieZo, Prolife

ONVZ – VvAA, Yes

ENO – Salland

Internationally insured persons with an EHIC card or via AON (9 sessions) or other student insurance naturally also have full reimbursement for 2023.

Boncura has NO contract for 2023 with:

VGZ – VGZ aware, Unitedconsumers, Univé, Zekur, UMC Healthcare Insurance, IZA, IZZ, Careful

For clients who are nevertheless insured with VGZ or 1 of the above brands that fall under VGz, a personal contribution will apply in 2023. VGZ pays the part that is reimbursed directly to Boncura, the part that is not reimbursed will be charged directly to you afterwards. The amount of the personal contribution differs per policy. If you want to be eligible for full reimbursement, we advise you to switch to an insurer who does have a contract with Boncura GGz.

Boncura is still negotiating for 2023 with:

CZ – Just, OHRA, Nationale Nederlanden

The outcome of these negotiations, if known, will be posted here as soon as possible.

Reason for you to take a good look at your insurance if you are being treated at Boncura in 2023, or will be treated.

The integrated care agreement (IZA) that the cabinet implemented last autumn has not been signed by various clients and professional organizations in the mental health care sector. The reason for this is that the free choice of doctors (or read: free choice of practitioner in mental health care, it concerns various types of care) is being abolished. This makes it possible for health insurers to reimburse clients and healthcare providers, for example, only 55% of the nationally determined NZA rate, in order to encourage clients to move to large (contracted) institutions. Such low reimbursement percentages were not allowed until now, but in 2023 this has now been made possible by government policy.

Until 2022, Boncura has not passed on the discount imposed by health insurers to its clients. Should it be the case that health insurers actually introduce those low rates in 2023, Boncura will unfortunately be forced to have its clients (like other mental health care providers) pay a part. We therefore strongly advise you to take a good look at who you are taking out health insurance with, so as not to be faced with any unpleasant surprises.
